The project is part of a foothill area in the Lucca countryside. The project involves obtaining a detached villa after demolishing an existing building. The lot is positioned close to some buildings of historical origin typical of the rural court, with some alterations from the original layout. The new building aims to bring to mind some typical characteristics of the rural building in the Lucca countryside. The elevation that overlooks the existing building contains some typical restyled elements such as the mandolata, the stone facade and the size and characteristics of some openings. The part of the building that overlooks the large private land of relevance opens to the outside with large glazed openings, favoring the direct relationship between inside and outside. The materials used in addition to the local stone will be the plastered masonry, iron and glass. The structure is composed of simple forms that, in a full at empty volumes succession, create visual games with lights and shadows, while allowing for panoramic views of the garden
